Korean Parts & More · Updated 12 September 2026
This notice explains cookies, pixels and similar browser technology on koreanpartsnmore.co.za. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains our processing of personal information under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
You can reject optional tracking and still request a part, call or use our WhatsApp links. Optional statistics and marketing services require your permission. Closing the banner or continuing to browse is not acceptance. Your parts-enquiry permission is separate from tracking permission and does not subscribe you to marketing.
1. Your privacy choices
Choose Accept optional to allow the optional categories, Reject optional to keep them off, or Preferences to choose separately. You can return to Privacy choices or this page to change your choice. The controls below manage this browser; repeat your choice on other browsers or devices.
Where supported, we respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control as a request to keep optional tracking off. Browser settings or extensions may also prevent optional services from loading. If the controls do not appear, enable JavaScript for the controls or contact us; the enquiry and contact links remain available without optional tracking.
2. What these technologies do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local and session storage retain information on your device; session storage normally ends when the browser tab or session ends. Scripts run website features. A pixel or web beacon can send a request to a service provider when a permitted event occurs. Such requests can reveal an IP address, browser/device information, time, a page address and identifiers even when they do not include a name. We do not describe this data as automatically anonymous.
3. Necessary website features
These support security, the website’s operation and remembering your privacy choices. They are not used by us to advertise to you. Complianz stores category decisions and the notice version so we can honour acceptance or rejection. WordPress and website components may use short-lived technical storage for display compatibility or form operation. Staff login cookies apply to authenticated administration, not a requirement for customers to enquire.
We rely on the applicable POPIA grounds described in our Privacy Policy for necessary operation and security. Blocking all browser storage can interfere with remembering your choices or with necessary features.
4. Preferences
This optional category is reserved for convenience settings beyond what is necessary. It is not permission for statistics or advertising. We do not currently identify a separate optional preference service that needs to run for a parts enquiry.
5. Website statistics
With statistics consent, Google Analytics can measure visits and selected interactions so we can understand which pages help visitors. Google may receive device/browser details, IP-derived information, timestamps, public page addresses and cookie identifiers. Google advertising signals and ad personalisation are not enabled by this statistics choice. The duplicate Jetpack visitor tracker is not used by this website setup.
We exclude enquiry text, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, VINs, photographs and private enquiry references from our custom measurement events. Our Google configuration uses public page addresses without enquiry query strings. A button click or a form step is an interaction, not proof of a successful enquiry, purchase or sale.
6. Marketing and external content
Google Ads measurement: allowing both statistics and marketing permits Google Analytics and our linked Google Ads account to associate permitted advertising clicks with selected website interactions and successfully saved enquiries. Validated Google advertising identifiers (such as gclid, gbraid or wbraid) may be included in a permitted public page address. On advertising-tagged visits, Google measurement waits for both categories. No Google advertising personalisation, Google signals, customer-list uploads or enhanced conversions using customer contact details are enabled by this installation.
We do not pass enquiry fields, photographs or private enquiry references to Google advertising measurement. Google click identifiers are not forwarded to the Meta pixel by our guarded integration. This is a new measurement purpose compared with the earlier Meta-only marketing notice, so we request a fresh privacy choice.
This optional category also covers the Meta pixel for Facebook and Instagram measurement and embedded third-party content such as Google Maps. Meta can associate permitted website activity with its identifiers and, where applicable, a Meta account. Its own use of that information is governed by Meta’s policies and your Meta settings. We do not promise that information received by Meta cannot be used for profiling.
Our website pixel is limited to permitted public-page measurement. Automatic advanced matching, automatic event collection, customer-list uploads and server-side Conversions API are not enabled by this installation. We do not send parts-enquiry fields or uploaded photographs to Meta. Advertising campaigns are separate from pixel installation; accepting cookies does not mean an advertisement or a purchase has occurred.
Google Maps remains behind a consent placeholder until you choose to enable marketing/external content. Loading a map connects your browser to Google, which may receive device information and set or read its own cookies. A normal Facebook or WhatsApp link does not itself embed your conversation in this site. Following it opens that provider’s service, where its own privacy terms and settings apply.
7. Browser-storage inventory and duration
The following describes the configured services, not a guarantee that every visitor receives every cookie. Browser restrictions, provider changes and your choices affect what is actually stored. An asterisk means a variable suffix.
- Complianz: cmplz_*. Necessary category decisions, banner status, consented services and policy version. Configured expiry: up to 365 days; updating your choice may renew it.
- WP Consent API: wp_consent_*. Necessary communication of category choices to compatible website components. Configured expiry: up to 30 days when these cookies are set.
- WordPress: wpEmojiSettingsSupports. Session storage for browser emoji-display support. Ends with the relevant browser session; not advertising.
- Google Analytics: _ga and _ga_*. Optional visitor/session measurement. Google’s standard cookie duration is up to two years and can be renewed on a consented visit; browsers may impose a shorter period. This is separate from Google’s server-side data-retention settings.
- Google advertising measurement: _gcl_* where set. Optional advertising-click or conversion-linking information, generally lasting up to 90 days depending on the cookie, provider settings and browser limits. Google Analytics identifiers may also support consented conversion measurement. We do not use URL passthrough to carry identifiers between website links without consent.
- Meta: _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc. Optional browser or advertising-click identifiers, generally up to 90 days and subject to provider renewal and browser limits. Our guarded integration does not require you to provide contact information to Meta.
- Embedded Google Maps. Optional provider requests may use their own browser identifiers or existing Google cookies. Their presence and duration depend on your Google login, browser and service settings; consult Google’s notices below. They are not required for a parts enquiry.
We review this inventory when integrations change. It is not presented as a completed independent cookie-database scan. Browser storage duration is also different from the business retention of an enquiry: unsuccessful enquiries and their uploaded photographs follow the three-calendar-month period after unsuccessful closure in our Privacy Policy, subject to its explained exceptions.
8. Withdrawing permission and deleting cookies
You may turn optional categories off at any time. Withdrawal stops future optional processing through this website; it cannot undo information already sent lawfully before withdrawal. A page refresh may be used to stop a previously loaded service. Use your browser’s privacy settings to inspect or delete stored cookies, including third-party cookies that this website cannot directly remove. Deleting the necessary consent-choice cookie means we may ask for your choice again.
For requests concerning information already held by Korean Parts & More, contact us using the details below. Rights are subject to applicable POPIA requirements and lawful retention grounds, rather than an unconditional right to erase every record.
9. Providers and international processing
Google and Meta may process data outside South Africa. See the international-transfer and recipient sections of our Privacy Policy. Their own notices explain their wider services and settings:
